In that moment of frustration, amidst the lingering smell of burnt rubber and dejection, our team knew that driving home with a “DNF” could have been prevented.

The truth is, preventative maintenance and tallying laps on parts may not be the most glamorous aspect of racing, BUT it is the (subdued yet) crucial work behind the scenes that ensures a great race night.

Like some teams, we thought it was a good idea to keep track of everything on a whiteboard in the trailer, that was until someone leaned against it and wiped it all away. Next, we tried a few different ways:  First we tried to remember when we did each task (couldn’t make it three weeks before we lost count), a journal (which we lost), post-it notes (lost those, too)...

Each option had its downfalls. So we took it upon ourselves to build a better option – RacePrep.
