AI Setup Assistant

Ask the AI what to change, get handling advice, and fill scale weights and lap times from a photo.

AI Setup Assistant

The AI tools are built into your setup sheet. Tell them the track and how the car drove, and they come back with concrete changes based on the setup you're running. Then ask follow-ups, the way you'd talk it over at the pit table. They speak RC: sweepers, blue groove, heats, droop screws and diffs, not full-size-car sentences.

Connection required. Logging, searching, and saving work with no signal. Asking the AI needs a connection.

Ask AI Crew Chief

On templates that have it, Ask AI Crew Chief sits at the bottom of the setup screen. Track changed since your last visit? Ask what to adjust. Every template also has Ask A What-if Question on the What If? tab: set what the track or weather is doing and ask what a change would do.

What to tell it

  • Which track, and what the surface is doing.
  • How the car drove: pushing in the sweepers, loose on power, tight off-power.
  • What you changed since the last round.

Then ask follow-ups. It is a conversation, so "what if I go softer on the rear springs instead" is a fair next question.

Analyze this session

On the Recap tab, fill in Driver Feedback (corner entry, middle, exit, forward bite, side bite), then tap Analyze this session. It reads that round and suggests what to move before the next heat.

Tuning guidance

Tuning guidance is built from your logged setups, not from a forum thread. The AI looks at what you ran, how you rated it, and what you are running now, then recommends specific changes to try.

Fill it from a photo

Two buttons turn a photo into setup data. On the Scale tab, Import Scale Weights with AI reads a scale readout or a paper setup sheet. On the Laps tab, Import Lap Time with AI reads your timing results. Shoot it with the camera or pick a screenshot from your gallery.

Snap the scale

  1. Set the car on the scale and photograph the readout.
  2. Check what it read, then tap OK to fill in the four corners, or Cancel to throw it away.
  3. Total Weight, Cross RF/LR, Left Side and Wedge (Bite) work themselves out from the corners.
  4. Fix any corner it got wrong by typing over it.

Nothing fills in until you tap OK, so a misread number never lands on your sheet by surprise.

Lap time comparison

Every race round has a Laps tab. Pick the Driver to Match, tap Import Lap Time with AI and give it a screenshot of the timing results: it fills in your session time and the fastest time in the field. A setup that felt good and a setup that was fast aren't always the same setup, and the times settle the argument.
