Before race day
Your setups back up when you sign out, not when you save. Setups don't sync between phones, and signing in replaces what's on the phone with your last backup. Deletes have no undo. Read the full list.
Quick answers
Does RacerRX work at the track with no signal?
It does. Logging, searching and saving setups all work at the pit table with zero bars. Backups, profile edits, the AI tools, emailing a setup and adding cars or tracks need a connection.
How do I back up my setups?
Sign out while you have signal: menu drawer, tap your name, then Log out of RacerRX. That's the only time RacerRX backs up, so do it before a big weekend and before you switch phones.
I got a new phone. How do I move my setups?
Sign out on the old phone first, then sign in on the new one; the restore runs on its own. Follow Back up and move to a new phone step by step; the order matters.
I signed in and this week's setups are gone. Why?
Signing in replaces everything on the phone with your last backup, and that backup is only as fresh as your last sign-out. Anything you logged after it doesn't come back. Next time, sign out on the phone you raced with before you sign in anywhere else.
Can I use RacerRX on two phones?
Your cars show up on both, but setups don't sync. A second phone only gets your setups when the first one signs out and the second signs in, and the last phone to sign out overwrites the backup. Pick one phone for race day.
I deleted a setup by mistake. Can I get it back?
No. Deleting a setup, baseline or car is final; there's no trash. If you made it before your last sign-out, it's still in that backup. Getting it back that way also wipes anything you logged since, so contact us before you try.
Why won't my profile change save?
Profile edits need signal. With no bars the change looks saved but is lost, so make it again once you have a connection. Your email address can't be changed in the app.
I can't find Cars, Tracks or Manage.
Open the menu drawer. RacerRX has no bottom bar; Manage, Subscriptions and your profile all live in the drawer. The Where to find things table has the rest.
My track runs more rounds than the sheet shows.
Turn on more sessions from the 3-dot menu with Edit sessions; every sheet has 12. See Rename or turn on sessions.
Where do I log the last race of the day?
That's the Feature. Every setup opens with Baseline, Round 1, Round 2 and Feature. If your track runs B or C Mains first, turn those sessions on with Edit sessions.
What does "I'm done racing" do?
It marks the setup finished and takes you back to your list. A finished setup opens straight to the Full Setup Sheet. You can still edit its values with the pencil, but you can't un-finish it or change its sessions.
How much does RacerRX cost?
One plan, everything included. The app shows the current price: open Subscriptions from the menu drawer, and tap See Features for what's in it. More under Plan.
How do I cancel?
From your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel billing. How to cancel
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Both. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.
Can I sign in with my RaceNight or RacePrep account?
Yes. RacerRX, RaceNight and RacePrep share one account, so sign in with the login you already have. Change your password in RacerRX and it changes in RacePrep too.
What kinds of RC racing does it support?
Dirt oval and carpet oval. There are templates for Sprint Car, Mudboss, EDM, Late Model and Street Stock on dirt, and 1/10 Pan Car on carpet. Missing a class? Request a template.
Can I run more than one car?
Cars are unlimited. Each one keeps its own setups and photos. Filter your list to one car and you can swipe between cars at the top of the screen. Add your first car
Can I share a setup with another racer?
Share it to Community Setups, or send a private code, from the Full Setup Sheet. For a PDF, tap Email on the same screen. See Share a setup and Email a PDF.
Does the AI need signal?
It does. Ask AI Crew Chief, Analyze this session, what-if questions and the photo imports all go to the server; the rest of the app works offline. AI Setup Assistant
The photo import got a number wrong. What now?
Type over it by hand. After Import Scale Weights with AI or Import Lap Time with AI, you see what it read and tap OK to fill it in or Cancel to throw it away, so nothing lands on your sheet until you say so. Fill corner weights from a photo
How do I delete my account?
Fill in the account deletion form. It also deletes your RaceNight and RacePrep account, since they're the same account, and it can't be undone. Delete your account
